Our Bug Off Wax Melt contains a highly effective natural insect repellent, known as Citrepel. Unlike typical citronella products, Citrepel is recognised as an insect repellent. 

The size of this wax melt has been designed for single use in a large wax warmer - for smaller wax warmers, we highly recommend cutting this product in half using a blunt knife. 

From our extensive product testing, we have found this product to have a significantly better effect at repelling insects than market leading product alternatives. This is not to say that using this product will rid your entire home of a particular insect, just that mosquito numbers will be dramatically reduced within the locality of where used. For this reason, this product is marketed as a Wax Melt containing a Biocidal Products Directive approved ingredient. 

Citrepel is registered under the Biocidal Products Directive (BPR) and certified as a product of natural origin by ECOCERT. Produced from natural essential oils, Citrepel is very high in PMD, a powerful active ingredient shown to be effective against a broad spectrum of insects.
